Bickering In The House

Blaming, pointing the finger, undermining success and happiness - no cooperation. Conditions like these pervade many homes in the world and they continue to eat away at our US government!

Sarah Palin "reacts" like a defensive parent calling for the firing of Rahm Emanuel.

The Republicans launch an all out attack on Obama, like a bitter ex-spouse who will stop at nothing to insure they have the power!

Day after day, the news exhausts the American audience with the bickering of short-sighted, spiritually immature individuals that unfortunately hold positions of power.

Like the child who can't bear any longer, the discord of the arguing parents, I want to either scream SHUT UP! or run away to a secluded island and breathe in the salt air and feel the peace that was never present at home.

And like a frustrated parent I also wish I could put the entire US Senate and House in time out, for about a year, and have them think about "what they've done," and come out when they're ready to be "nice." (a vague, overused word, I know)

So to Sarah and Rahm and Barack and every elected official that is supposed to be serving the American people's best interests I wish to say, "choose whether you want to inspire, unite and uplift life on this planet, not just sometimes or with certain people, but always in ALL WAYS, or keep choosing to undermine this country's freedom and unity by jockeying for power, control, the last word, blaming etc. and living as though your actions do not affect all of us.

So play "nice" or you'll all go to bed without dinner!
