Two nights ago Cynthia and I along with another couple attended a two-hour gathering hosted by James Arthur Ray, a personal development mentor made famous by his appearance in the DVD The Secret.
Whenever I attend an event like this I always come away with a pearl or two that really sticks. Sometimes the pearl is a reminder of a truth that has slipped from the forefront of my consciousness, sometimes it feels like it's brand shiny new!
What I heard on Tuesday night that I felt assuage some of the fear radiating from the audience (given the current economic conditions) is the reminder that everything is seasonal and right now we are in a financial winter - "a winter of discontent" I would add.
