In the world of personal transformation feedback is an important thing. Feedback from people, from animals, from your surroundings, your body and even feedback from your bank account.
Feedback can come in many forms and tells us how we're doing in life. Bottom line, it tells us to what degree we are in alignment with our Higher nature, our God Self, or Love, if you will.
I'm always aware of what my life is telling me about me. Some days the feed back is inspiring and other days life is telling me I've veered off course.
On Christmas morning I got some wonderfully positive feedback from my sixteen-year-old daughter. As I was unwrapping this very small gift she said, "I thought of you when I saw this so I wanted you to have it."
As I removed the final barrier of tissue paper I began to read the words inscribed on the refrigerator magnet:
"Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around..." Leo Buscaglia
This acknowledgement from my daughter went straight to my heart and will always serve as a reminder of who I want to be in the world and what Cynthia and I are always inspiring within our daughters.
Now when I pass by the refrigerator there will be a "call to action" and a reminder to not only give this way of being to others but also to myself!
