Much of the essence of living the heartlife is embracing the process of calling one's own power back into their life. Not the power to dominate but the power of spiritual will. The will power to pull yourself up by the proverbial boot straps and say NO to being a victim, NO to feeling helpless, NO to being dishonest, or NO to being a slave to an addiction.
Last night an overwhelming number of Americans, many for the very first time, called their power back by voting. The majority of those voices voted for a new leader, one that they feel will guide them towards not only great, positive change for the United States of America and the world, but deep within them this half black, half-white man that embodies a history of unprecedented diversity, will guide them back to their own personal ability to create powerful, positive change within their own personal life.
I was deeply moved by the historical events of last night. Along with John McCain's humble, heart-felt speech to the incredible sight of this young, family-man holding is daughter's hands as he, along with his wife, stepped on to the stage in Chicago.
My heart is filled with such hope that Barack Obama will be a wayshower, a model to not only this country and her people, but to the world, that power coming from the heart, not from domination and military force, is ultimately the cure to what ails this planet.
My vision for this new president and for all the people he will gather to support him in his cabinet, is that we, the people, will come together with such power of the heart, that Obama, the congress, the judicial system, the banking system, education and the like will be transformed at a miraculous rate and change beyond our wildest expectations could be accomplished within the next four years.
It is time for us as individual citizens to call our own spiritual power back into our personal lives, and say NO MORE to our own corruption, our own emotional baggage, our own lack of integrity and fear-based beliefs. It is time for each of us to become a STAND for that same housecleaning of our government, businesses, politics, military etc..
With this kind of unified power, by 2012, a most auspicious year for this planet, we could be well on our way to crafting a country that will once again be the beacon for freedom and a model for what's possible when fear and destruction are replaced by love and spiritual power.
